Fly Rest. has closed down 8.16.06 Zocalo Restaurant has closed. Aspasianado Restaurant has closed 8.11.06 Los 3 Carboncitos has moved to calle 4 norte, between 5 & 10 Ave. Norte, and is now simply called, Carboncito's. 8.10.06 Capt. Bob's and De Gabi Restaurants have closed. 3.8.06 The legendary night spot Captain Tutix has closed............being replaced by condos! 1.27.06 The Abyss Dive Shop in Playa is temporarily located on 1 ave. norte, between 12&14 calle norte, one block off the beach, don't forget their two locations in Tulum. (abyssdiveshop.com) 1.27.06 Magdalenas Grill House is closed.

Calle 8 sur, between 10 & 15 ave. norte......... 1.27.06 Cruise ship piers sustained heavy hurricane damage, passengers are being tendered to the island for now. 1.27.06 Punta Sur Park sustained heavy damage as well........ rebuilding is under way.
